Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate QA Associate Test Manager to join our dynamic team in the video game industry. As a QA Associate Test Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our game titles throughout the development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute test plans, manage test processes, and drive the overall quality assurance strategy.
Responsibilities: Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with project stakeholders to define test objectives, scope, and strategies for assigned game titles. Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of game features, functionalities, and performance metrics. Identify and prioritize test requirements based on project milestones, goals, and risk assessments. Test Execution and Management: Oversee the execution of test plans and test cases across multiple platforms and devices, including PC, consoles, and mobile devices. Coordinate with QA testers to ensure timely and accurate execution of test cases, tracking defects and issues through resolution. Monitor test progress, provide regular status updates, and escalate critical issues to project stakeholders as needed. Quality Assurance Processes: Implement and maintain best practices for quality assurance processes, methodologies, and tools within the QA team. Continuously evaluate and improve testing workflows to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. Conduct regular reviews and audits of test documentation, processes, and deliverables to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria. Collaborate with game designers, artists, and programmers to provide feedback on gameplay, user interface, and technical performance from a quality assurance perspective.
