The 5G Chapter Lead is involved in the technical pre-sale activity (defining the solution architecture, providing effort estimation, creating the scope of work) and delivery activity (contributing to the creation of HLD and SoW, managing the customer, managing the delivery team to fulfill HPE obligations, handling escalations) in close collaboration with different stakeholders (customers, partners, HPE GP, HPE 4G/Orchestration GTC, HPE product teams).The 5G Global Technology Center (GTC) is looking for experienced delivery people to join our rapidly growing cutting-edge team to help us fulfill our mission - to secure HPE CMS as the industry leader in 5G by delivering HPE cloud-native 5G and HPE Core Stack solutions effectively and efficiently, being the first among our competitors to fully embrace aaS and the CI/CD delivery model and paving the road to Open 5G.Responsibilities:Manages the 5G team of up to 15-20 technical consultants.Owns the 5G delivery model and assures consistency in delivery approach across all projects.Deep involvement in technical presale activity to define architecture, scope of work and corresponding effort estimates.Managing the delivery to the end customer including design, customer interactions, and escalations with the objective to fulfill customer requirements as per defined project milestones.Interacts with HPE 5G internal stakeholders: 4G/5G product management (enhancement requests, Customer's commitment follow-up), 4G/5G R&D, 5G Support, 4G GTC (CI/CD & automation for legacy 2/3/4G scope) and Orchestration GTC (for Service Director delivery and integration).Contributes to partners & customers' relationship with partner manager and local CMS team.Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members.Provides detailed performance review input and development recommendations for team members.Education and Experience Required:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.Minimum 10 years experience in solution architecture design and/or project delivery and/or R&D.Telecom and networking experience (4G & 5G Mobile Core Networks, 3GPP standards), Cloud native experience (Kubernetes and associated tools, CI/CD, DevOps and Agile methodologies).Previous experience in pre-sales activities is appreciated (responding to RFPs, performing PoCs, estimating efforts and building quotations and proposals).Previous experience in delivery activities
