YOUR MISSION
As the Sales Lead for Glovo's Ads team, you will play a crucial role in the Partner Ads team at Glovo working with local African teams, contributing to the country P&L. Your responsibility will be leading our Ads sales operations for the market,
developing our go to market strategy, and creating strong client relationships to accelerate top line revenue growth. Your role will also involve launching products and features to scale our operations, increasing our pool of advertisers and streamlining our sales tools and processes. You'll play a key role in guiding and enabling our Account Management teams in Africa.
THE JOURNEY
- Work hand in hand with each local Ads team in our African markets to achieve our Partner revenue targets.
- Drive measurable business outcomes (OKRs) through initiatives that enhance advertiser adoption and retention.
- Look for opportunities to enhance the ads campaigns performance through data analysis and market trends monitoring.
- Adapt real-time partner ads campaigns in order to optimize Partner's investments (ROAs) and boost number of advertisers.
- Provide strategic guidance and trainings to Account managers to help them achieve their monetization goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of key ads campaigns, from pre-sale research to campaign launch and optimisation.
- Develop outbound sales pipelines and conversion funnels improving the sales processes and tooling for efficiency and effectiveness.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in digital advertising sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth across multiple markets.
- Experience with sales of performance-based ads across various models.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, coupled with experience coordinating and motivating teams.
- Proven ability to negotiate with key accounts.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in digital ad metrics and data-driven decision making.
- Experience working with Salesforce.
- Excellent communication skills, and fluency in English.
- Previous experience working directly with enterprise restaurant advertisers or similar is a plus.
