MISSION

You'll play a crucial role in shaping and conveying our brand identity and messaging to external audiences. As a key member of the communications team, reporting to the Senior Communications and Branding Manager, you'll drive strategic initiatives to enhance our brand visibility, reputation, and engagement across various channels and stakeholders.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive external communication strategies aligned with the company's brand objectives and values.
Lead the creation and implementation of integrated branding campaigns to elevate brand awareness and differentiation in the renewable energy sector.
Manage all aspects of external communications, including media relations, public relations, and corporate messaging.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content, press releases, and marketing materials that effectively communicate the company's mission, initiatives, and achievements.
Serve as the primary spokesperson and media liaison, cultivating relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze media coverage, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks for the brand.
Oversee the development and maintenance of digital assets, including the company website, social media channels, and online content platforms.
Coordinate and support participation in industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
Ensure consistency and alignment of brand messaging and visual identity across all communication channels and touchpoints.
Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication and branding initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in external communication, branding, or marketing roles, preferably within the renewable energy or sustainability sector.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication and branding strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement.
Strong content writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messages for diverse audiences.
Excellent media relations skills, with experience in pitching stories, managing press inquiries, and crisis communication.
Desirable design and video editing knowledge (Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva…)
Digital marketing expertise, including proficiency in social media management, content marketing, and website optimization.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities with attention to detail.
Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for sustainability and environmental initiatives.
Fluency in English and Spanish; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
