ResponsibilitiesBranch Manager to create and open a New Branch in Madrid. Full responsibility for and provide leadership in achieving the stated goals of the Imports and Exports, and Air and Ocean departments as well as ensure a smooth running of the branch in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Full P/L, budget and target responsibility for the branch.
Operational Functions: Coordinate the operations for both Imports & Exports departments.Ensure speedy delivery of cargo to customers.Compliance with all regulations of USA Customs/IATA/TSA.Human Resources: Functional and Accounting Outcomes. Set goals and objectives.Collaborate with Sales to integrate operations and sales budgets.Business Plan Development: Client, Supply Management, and Business Development.Management of allocated customers.Negotiation of contracts with local suppliers.People Management: Lead, motivate, and manage operations and sales teams.Retain adequate staffing levels.Monitor staff performance.Skills RequiredGood interdepartmental relationships and liaises with suppliers and overseas agents.Focus on Customers.Links employee development to individual organization objectives.Shows initiative when handling problems.Business Unit & Cost centre supervision experience: P&L, Debtors, AR/AP.Essentially six plus years of industry related experience required.Demonstrated Leadership and People Management skills.Proven sales ability.Results driven.Able to handle complex problems, knows how to multitask.What You Can ExpectPlay a vital role in this process.
