Job Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Ensure that all accounting entries are correctly posted and properly classified. Assist in preparing the branch's budget and forecast. Monitor actual financial performance against the budget and report variances. Provide financial advice to branch management for better decision-making. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the branch, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure that reports are submitted on time to the head office or management. Monitor the branch's cash flow to ensure liquidity for day-to-day operations. Handle banking transactions and reconciliations, ensuring accurate records of cash receipts and payments. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent errors, fraud, and inefficiencies. Coordinate with internal or external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation. Manage the branch's billing, invoicing, and collections processes. Ensure timely payment of suppliers and proper recording of purchases. Follow up on receivables and ensure that payments are collected promptly. Prepare and file tax returns for the branch as required by law. Ensure proper deduction and payment of withholding taxes, VAT, or other applicable taxes. Prepare financial analysis reports for the Branch Manager and regional finance team. Coordinate with the head office accounting department to ensure the branch's financials align with corporate policies and standards. Collaborate with other departments within the branch to facilitate smooth financial operations. Job Type: Full-time
