The candidate should also have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.To be considered for this role, you must complete a full application on our company careers page, including all screening questions and a brief pre-employment test.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitors and confirms financial condition by conducting auditsPrepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing and consolidating financial data; recommending plansProvides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial dataPrepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsCoordinates bank deposits and reports financial results on a regular basis to managementDevelops monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheetsProcesses accounts receivable/payable and handles payroll in a timely mannerComplies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actionsMaintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employeesProtects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidentialPrepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account informationMaintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepanciesSummarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statementsProduces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, initiating direct deposit, and verifying finished productSecures financial information by maintaining strict confidentialityBalances and maintains accurate ledgersCandidate QualificationsAll positive and driven applicants are encouraged to apply. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
