The mission of this position is to ensure the development of La Prairie Luxury House at retail level within the Spanish market by maximizing the retail performance targets of the affiliate ensuring Luxury excellence through effective recruitment, management and development of all field and in-store personnel.The Retail Director will report directly to the General Manager and will have 6 direct reports.How you will create a beautiful impactBusiness PlanningDefine and implement all retail and performance targets in line with Global guidelines.Define and follow on KPIs to maximize the retail performance targets.Regularly review KPIs at both individual and store level vs required targets and benchmarks & implement a recovery plan where required.Drive required retail growth in top doors by developing and implementing tailored business plans and event activity.Follow weekly/monthly retail performance of all doors and undertake appropriate in store actions and follow-up to keep them on track.Anticipate issues and implement action and contingency plans.Identify new opportunities and ideas to drive sales within brand parameters and tools, and evaluate effectiveness.Be aware of competitor activity in each door, and track ranking data where possible.Evaluate stock levels within each store and initiate corrective actions when needed.Ensure visual merchandising by door is being maintained.Monitor CRM clients database and KPIs, and set targets to the team in order to maximize client activation results.Ensure the compliance and upkeep of customer record & transactions on clienteling tool.Effective Retail and Education team managementLead the Field team, leading by example of leadership and excellence.Create and motivate strong in store teams that work together to meet and exceed targets.Be able to give and receive feedback as a tool to develop the team and strengthen relationships.Deliver performance reviews and help the team achieve their performance objectives.Establish efficient management processes to maximize quality time of the teams in store to drive business.Act as a conduit of efficient communication.BA populationEffectively manage Beauty Advisors / Counter Managers performance through ongoing in store reviews and assessment, appraisals, and Consultant Development plans in accordance with La Prairie guidelines.Develop, motivate, and coach in store teams.Undertake the timely recruitment and assessment of new consultants.Managing store relationships and communicationConduct relationships with retailer department/store managers and present business strategy updates.Negotiate appropriate local opportunities for sites, windows & Beauty Rooms.Identify and discuss with store management consultant performance issues through performance management.Communicate opportunities and risks to other teams.Implementation of marketing and merchandising guidelinesFollow up the execution of in-store marketing activity.
