BMS Solutions - Business Development ConsultantJob Summary:MPS is seeking a highly self-motivated engineer with deep knowledge in battery management systems for industrial applications such as energy storage.
The engineer will work in the complete product development cycle, defining product specifications with the technical marketing team, simulating and prototyping the product, collaborating with Digital and Analog IC design teams in the implementation phase, and thoroughly testing and qualifying the product.Essential Functions:Definition of product specifications and features with sales and technical marketing team.Validate and prototype the product in collaboration with FPGA engineer.Support digital and analog IC team design validation.Thoroughly test and validate the system according to defined specifications and MPS validation system.Design evaluation board with the technician team, to deliver a fully testable solution to MPS's clients.Write technical articles, datasheets, and application notes to support clients and MPS's sales team.Experience Requirement:BS in related engineering field (MS preferred) + 2-3 years of industry experience in battery management systems.Qualifications:Solid understanding and experience with high voltage BMS for industrial applications such as energy storage, power tools, or electric vehicles.Oral/written proficiency in English.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Location:Barcelona, SpainMonolithic Power Systems, Inc.
