Reports to: You will report to Country Group Procurement and Logistics Leader South-West, within our O-I European Procurement Organization.
Your responsibilities: Analyze business needs to develop robust sourcing strategies aligned with the stakeholders supporting the short and long-term business objectives: performing financial goal attainment and developing supplier relations, including quality and service level agreements and follow-up; Build a team of engaged, motivated, and dedicated procurement professionals (2 direct reports), leading to better performing organization; Optimize material and supplier portfolio contributing to the reduction of TCO; Lead identified improvement projects; Contract lifetime management; Develop and maintain supplier relationships with the objective of reducing costs and increasing company profitability.
Qualifications: Degree in Business and Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field; Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, contract, and supplier management; Fluent in English & Spanish; Ability to make strategic decisions for all assigned responsibilities, set priorities, drive changes, meet deadlines, and recommend strong course of action; Positive, hands-on, determined, highly motivated, and result-oriented with an organized and structured approach to solving tasks; Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results that are in the best interest of the company; Experience in demand management, automation, outsourcing, make or buy, TCO; Demonstrated ability to lead projects and initiatives - document, plan, and execute; Experience with procurement and sourcing tools.
Experience in using SAP, MS Office; Strong communication and presentation skills; Travel requirements: up to 15%
