The understanding of migraine biology is approached by studying humans and rodents from a multidisciplinary perspective: neurobiology, epigenetics, and metabolomics. The group performs competitive research in the Migraine Adaptive Brain Center (MAB), which is a state-of-the-art facility to conduct psychophysics and electrophysiological studies and collaborates in the development of new drugs through participation in clinical trials to improve the quality of life of patients with migraine.In the Headache Clinical and Research Group at VHIR, we are looking for a Biostatistician to join us and be responsible for statistical analysis that will support our research studies in Headache.Education and Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or similar.Desired: Fluency in English.Experience and Knowledge: Required: Knowledge in programming language R.Ability to perform descriptive statistics and graphical visualizations of data in R. For nominal data, ANOVA, simple linear regression models.Good understanding of the underlying statistical concepts for basic tests.Desired: Good communication and collaboration skills.Attention to detail.Knowledge in advanced statistical inference: logistic regression, analysis of longitudinal data, multivariate analysis.Main Responsibilities and Duties: Perform accurate statistical analysis to support research studies in Headache, including data pre-processing, analysis, visualization, and statistical reporting.Provide assistance in survey development and data collection.Perform tasks related to data exportation and data quality improvement.Provide assistance on Clinical Trials coordination and data entry tasks.Labour Conditions: Full-time/Part-time position: 40h/week.Starting date as soon as possible
