About the roleAs Bioprocess Scientist you will be responsible for leading the transfer of new reagents into production and implementing improvements to current processes. This role is critical to ensuring efficiency and quality in the manufacturing of our products.
Main responsibilities will include:Lead the transfer of new reagents from development to large-scale production.Develop and optimize production processes to ensure maximum efficiency and quality.Implement continuous improvements to current processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including R&D, quality, and production, to ensure successful integration of new products and processes.Perform process analysis and troubleshooting, using statistical techniques and continuous improvement methodologies.Document and report results accurately and in a timely manner, meeting regulatory and quality standards.Train and educate production staff in new techniques and procedures.About youUniversity degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.3 years proven experience in bioprocesses, preferably in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.In-depth knowledge of bioprocess techniques, including flow cytometry, antibody conjugation, protein purification, and reagent formulation.Demonstrated skills in the implementation and optimization of production processes.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.Experience in the use of statistical analysis tools and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).Proficient in English, both written and spoken.Primary Work LocationESP Salamanca
