We are seeking a Biomedical Technologist to join our team and provide biomedical services onboard cruise ships.Responsibilities:Install, calibrate, and maintain biomedical equipment onboard cruise ships in accordance with manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements.Monitor the performance and functionality of medical devices, ensuring optimal operation and adherence to quality standards in a maritime environment.Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address issues proactively, considering the unique challenges of operating at sea.Perform troubleshooting and repairs on biomedical equipment, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions while onboard.Monitor equipment recalls and safety alerts, coordinating with manufacturers and regulatory agencies as necessary to ensure compliance and passenger safety.Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service history onboard cruise ships.Source OEM parts and components as needed for equipment maintenance and repairs, considering logistics challenges associated with maritime operations.Collaborate with onboard medical staff, ship engineers, and other stakeholders to support the effective use of medical technology and ensure passenger care continuity during voyages.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
