What We Are Looking forISGlobal is seeking a person who provides highly qualified input and research support in order to better exploit the scientific contribution of the project. PhD in computational biology / bioinformatics or MsC with equivalent experience will be determinant. This person will be in charge of taking over and managing activities of the project Development of a new intelligent and predictive tool for the early diagnosis and improved treatment of sepsis funded by Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación. The overall project goal is to develop a precision medicine solution for the diagnosis of sepsis by combining faster pathogen identification and antimicrobial susceptibility results, together with an immune system classifier method to deliver a rapid and accurate management of the patient.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE /QUALIFICATIONS? Experience on analysis of WGS of bacterial DNA, targeting Antimicrobial Resistance Genes and Virulence encoding Factors Genes and metagenomics. A person combining computer science and biology will be ideal.
