Roles and Responsibilities:
Produce coordinated 3D BIM models and simulations of BIM models based off existing detailed design 2D CAD/markup drawings and files produced by detailed design consultants using Revit.
Setup of BIM views for use by the project team including electronic document filing and all other facets of the electronic drawings and models.
Create BIM work sets and implement work-sharing processes.
Perform clash detection in Autodesk Navisworks or similar software.
Use the Revit family editor to build BIM content for building components, as necessary.
Work with various disciplines and external parties to create BIM and subsequent drawings based on schematic diagrams and models.
Assist both internal and external team members in the development of construction documents and as-built document creation and maintenance.
Work with various parties to update as-built model and 2D sheet files through construction with changes on-site or as instructed.
Work side by side with teams in-house and external teams to complete BIM projects.
Assist in the creation, maintenance, and proper utilization of company/project standards, templates, and content.
Monitor and check for model quality and integrity.
Provide feedback to Consultant Designers and Engineers.
Produce models and drawings consistent with Project instructions, guidelines, and CAD and BIM standards.
Modify CAD and BIM files for use in design drawings (clean-up, audit, reference, and troubleshoot).
Perform other roles, duties, and responsibilities directed by immediate superior that support the organization's Mission, Vision, Objectives, Strategies, and Core Values.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture.
Minimum of five (5) years of work-related technical experience. (Required)
Knowledge in using Revit for actual projects.
Working understanding of local and international codes and standards and experience in the consulting business carrying out MEP design.
Oral and Written Communication skills.
Knowledge in Eurocode is a plus.
Working understanding of local and international codes and standards and experience in the consulting business carrying out mechanical design, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, process works, and other work-related matters.
Experience with Revit MEP, Navisworks, and BIM360.
Willingness to work on flexible/extended work schedule.
