Functions and Responsibilities Your main responsibilities will include: Developing plugins and automating complex processes in BIM environments through programming.
Designing solutions to facilitate data integration between different platforms and systems, as well as establishing efficient data management protocols.
Implementing and managing relational databases.
Documenting BIM implementation at both project and company levels, in collaboration with the project team (Strategy, Pre-BEP, BEP, MIDP, etc.).
Staying updated with the latest trends in BIM, databases, and programming.
Developing integrated design workflows within the BIM methodology.
Creating manuals and procedures to standardize BIM implementation across projects and the company.
Communicating with different departments to implement BIM as a working methodology, and performing BIM Manager tasks for projects in the Industrial/Building sector.
Required Profile Education and Training: Academic Degree: Civil Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, Surveyor, Computer Engineer, Draftsman, or a related discipline.
Certifications: Recognized BIM certifications (Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit) and certifications in databases and programming (Oracle Certified Professional, Python Certification).
Professional Certification: BIM Fundamentals by BuildingSmart ISO 19650 Part 1 and Part 2.
Experience: 3 to 5 years of prior experience working on construction projects using the BIM methodology.
Advanced experience with BIM tools such as Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Navisworks, and other related software.
Solid experience in designing, implementing, and managing relational databases, preferably with systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.
Knowledge of programming languages relevant to BIM, such as Python, C#, Java, or platform-specific languages.
Deep understanding of BIM platform APIs for customization and automation.
Experience in developing plugins and custom extensions for BIM software.
Experience in automating repetitive tasks and complex processes in BIM environments through programming, as well as establishing efficient data management protocols in large and complex projects.
Ability to design solutions that facilitate data integration between different platforms and systems.
Desirable: Experience in BIM implementation within companies and work teams, as well as in team procedures.
