About the job We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Billing and Transactions Specialist to join our accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of billing, overseeing customer and vendor transactions, ensuring accurate invoicing, and verifying the correctness of supplier invoices based on transactions.This role offers significant growth potential within the finance department for a motivated individual.
You will: Billing Management: Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all billed amounts. Transaction Oversight: Monitor and control all operational transactions with customers and suppliers, ensuring they are correctly recorded and documented Invoice Verification: Review and verify supplier invoices to ensure they match the transactions and agreements made. Identify and resolve any discrepancies. Customer and Vendor Interaction: Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding billing inquiries, discrepancies, and payment statuses. Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and organised records of all billing and transaction activities. Accounting: Record and post all invoices in the accounting system. Ensure all entries are accurate and up-to-date. Accounting Checks: Regularly check accounting records to ensure consistency and accuracy. Address any errors or inconsistencies promptly. Reminder clients and follow up of payments clients Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on billing and transaction statuses to management. Required qualifications: Fluent in English (verbal and written) Minimum of 4 years of experience in billing, accounting, or a similar role. Hands-on experience with full-cycle accounting Motivated, responsible and have a positive personality Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
