Now we are connecting the dots between our successful international consultancy services and the local bike business community on the island of Mallorca.
Our aim is to connect all stakeholders of the local cycling industry to promote cycling as a business opportunity and to open the door for innovative and sustainable transport solutions on the Balearic Islands.
For the investigation and rollout of this Bike Business HUB project, we're looking for: Bike Business Research (Feasibility): Research, analyze, and capture the B2B Bike Business Hub market by: Researching the bike industry market (in numbers) on the island, reaching out (and visiting) all types of local bike-related companies: shops, rentals, cycling tourism, sport events, municipal initiatives, and policies.
Analyzing business model potential by investigating the needs, development plans, and interests of small and large bike industry companies in Europe.
Facilitating and participating in BBH team activities such as brainstorms, business modeling, planning, and scenario development.
Co-creating an economical plan (business case) demonstrating the viability of the business model.
Preparing presentation and promotion materials (pitch deck, business plans).
Starting to create a local network of cycling industry enthusiasts and businesses.
Organizing meetup and networking events, including bike rides.
Setting up and maintaining social media, websites, and marketing accounts.
Providing hands-on operational support to daily activities, events, and urgent topics within the growing BikeBusinessHUB team.
Profile: Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Economy studies (or similar) with preferably some working experience (in any field).
Fluency in English (business proficiency) and a solid level of Spanish.
A strong personal connection and proven affinity to cycling or biking in any form.
Interest in entrepreneurship, startups, and innovation and its methodologies/ways of working.
Good networking skills, comfort with social media, and persuasive and precise communication skills.
Strong analytical skills, well-organized, able to work independently with an open and creative mindset.
A humble person, eager to learn and capable of working in international team dynamics.
Ideally residing in Mallorca or open to relocating for the duration of the project.
