Then we would like to meet you As our future Big Data Infrastructure Administrator : You propose, argue, and defend technical solutions to non-technical managers. You keep track of the systems from the virtualization layer to the application servers layer and perform all system administration activities and regular tasks. You work autonomously, under pressure, based on objectives, and keeping deadlines in mind. You take care of problems and make resolute decisions based on risk assessment. You design platforms based on functional requirements, availability needs, data volumes, and users. You collaborate and participate in projects around designing, implementing, and exploiting big data and analytics platforms. You support teams and work on the development of scripts for the monitoring and automation of tasks. You have experience in some big data technologies, and you can learn other technologies in a short range of time. Your profile You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field , and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position within the IT industry . We are looking for someone with proven experience in the administration of big data ecosystems performing functions as a platform administrator for on-premises systems. Experience in administration of Linux operating systems (Red Hat family). Experience installing, administrating, and operating two or more of the following technologies: SUSE Rancher and Kubernetes clusters , Elasticsearch, Cloudera Private Cloud Platform , Hadoop components (Hadoop, yarn, HBase, Impala, etc.), VMWare vSphere virtualization platforms. Knowledge or experience in High-availability solutions, load balancers, relational databases (PostgreSQL), monitoring systems (Nagios), automation, and deployment tools. Basic understanding of networking, firewalls, SAN storage, and x86 architecture hardware, from Fujitsu is a big plus As a person, you are curious and communicative, analytical, and a good team player.
