SATLANTIS is looking for a Bid/Proposal Manager with space-domain expertise.
The candidate will be located at the Company Headquarters in LEIOA (Bizkaia, Spain).
The candidate will collaborate with the Business Development team in the identification of funding opportunities and the definition of offer concepts for institutional and commercial opportunities.
The candidate will lead the proposal development process, managing the whole proposal lifecycle and ensuring the delivery of compliant and compelling proposals that position SATLANTIS effectively for contract awards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong proposal drafting and project management skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of the European (ESA, EC) and/or Spanish contracting process.
The candidate will ideally have a strong understanding of research and innovation actions, experience in description of technological activities, and in program documentation, both internal and in collaboration with external entities/partners.
A detailed list of the Bid/Proposal Management tasks that fall within this area is provided below.
Tasks and responsibilities:Identify bidding opportunities together with the Business Development team, at institutional (European and/or Spanish) level.Identify scope of supply and proposals concepts together with the Business Development team, in line with the company strategy and roadmap.Lead the entire proposal development lifecycle, including planning, coordinating, and submitting responses to ITT, Call for Proposals, RFI/RFP/RFQ, under instructions from the Sales & Business Development team.Coordinate the offer/bid/proposal as well as the required bid preparation documents, ensuring inter-departmental collaboration.
Specifically, coordinate with technical, financial, and commercial departments to ensure all aspects of each proposal drafting are addressed efficiently and in parallel.Manage proposal documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with customer/tendering requirements.Support the contract/grant agreement negotiation and signature phases and execute bid handover to the project management team afterwards.Create support material (presentation, documents) related to proposals under preparation and submitted, for internal use.Conduct post-submission reviews and lessons-learned sessions.Required skills and experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or degrees in Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunication Engineering, Physics, Geoscience or equivalent.Track record of creating winning proposals for ESA, EC, CDTI, and/or private customers.Knowledge of the European/Spanish tendering and contracting processes.Strong written, oral and presentation communication skills in English and Spanish (negotiation level).Exceptional writing and communication skills.Strong collaboration, coordination, and management skills, including experience in coordinating partners in collaborative consortia.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.A good technological understanding and capability to tackle technical constraints related to Space/Earth Observation domain would be an asset.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Preferred experience & strengths:Client-facing and internal communication skills.Previous experience in space-domain projects.International and multidisciplinary work team experience is an asset.Languages:Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
