When you decide to work with GUS,Position: The BI Product Lead leads a team of talented BI developers on delivering actionable reports and dashboards for business stakeholders on the performance of the department. They gather business requirements from various stakeholders, produce functional development documents for the BI development and QA teams, and manage project delivery from scoping to roll-out. Along with the developers, they also manage change requests and establish post go-live support for existing BI products that they own.Communicates with and manages expectation of senior management and other stakeholders.Creates project plan, functional and potentially technical documentation for the BI development team, then prepares project status reports and presents project performance updates to relevant business stakeholders.Ensures progress is accurately communicated and expectations of various stakeholders are managed effectively.Looks after BI products through their entire life cycle from scoping to post-rollout support and change requests.Proactively integrates new technologies for more advanced analytics including and not limited to PowerFlow, PowerApps, and Machine Learning.Provides Power BI desktop & cloud platform, gateways & administration support and expertise.Ensures all projects adhere to project methodology compliance standards set by the company.Suggests improvements/best practices and takes ownership of implementing them.Provides good DAX, data modelling and basic M (Power Query Editor) capability.Produces and enhances reports & dashboards.Provides technical input and effective data analysis to projects to support the achievement of deliverables to time and budget.Maintains knowledge on business and technology trends that impact the business environment.Requirements:Essential Requirement: You must have experience working on AWS Redshift, Microsoft Power BI, Dataflows, Azure, DAX, Power Query/M, and SharePoint.Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 3 Years of experience in MS Power BI.5 Years of experience in IT, project management or a related field.Exemplary communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams
