RESPONSIBILITIES As a Technical Solutions Specialist at a leading BESS manufacturing company, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering tailored energy storage solutions that meet client requirements.
This position focuses on collaborating with clients during RFQs, RFIs, and tender processes to create comprehensive BESS solutions, including batteries, Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Medium Voltage (MV) skids, Energy Management Systems (EMS), and other control equipment.
You will act as a technical expert, assisting with documentation, provider communication, and educating clients on the operation and benefits of BESS systems.
This role is vital for ensuring customer satisfaction and promoting the adoption of advanced energy storage technologies in workshops, trade fairs, and beyond.
As a first step, several main accountabilities are expected from the potential candidate: 1.
Solution Development for Client Requests: Analyze client RFQs, RFIs, and tender specifications to develop custom BESS solutions.
Design full-system solutions, integrating batteries, PCS, MV skids, EMS, and auxiliary components.
Create system layouts, configurations, and technical proposals to align with customer needs and compliance standards.

Technical Documentation & Client Support: Prepare and complete complex technical documents required for client submissions.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate responses to RFQs and tenders.
Translate technical specifications into client-friendly formats and presentations.

Provider Communication & Coordination: Liaise with providers of power electronics, control software, and other system components to gather necessary data and ensure compatibility.
Manage relationships with key suppliers to optimize solutions and address technical queries.

Client Education & Advocacy: Conduct workshops, webinars, and presentations to educate clients on the functionality and advantages of BESS solutions.
Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events, showcasing expertise and engaging with potential customers.

Compliance & Optimization: Ensure all proposed solutions comply with local grid interconnection standards and industry regulations.
Confirm that technical regulations and certifications are met for all components and systems proposed.
Analyze operational data and feedback from deployments to propose system improvements and enhance performance.

Collaboration & Cross-functional Integration: Work closely with sales, R&D, and engineering teams to refine and deliver optimal solutions.
Provide technical guidance during pre-sales and ensure alignment between proposed solutions and client requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Major Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, or a related field, at least a bachelor's degree is necessary, any other course will be valued.
Familiarity with tender processes and technical documentation requirements.
Experience in client communication and stakeholder management.
2–5 years of experience in technical sales support, project engineering, or solution design in the energy storage or renewable energy sector.
Flexibility to provide support during critical project deadlines.
SKILLS Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in the renewable market, especially in BESS Products, PCS/EMS /BMS Technology Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills ( English is mandatory, the other language is a plus).
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Preferred Skills: Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN, IEC 61850).
Understanding of grid interconnection standards and energy storage compliance requirements.
Proficiency in monitoring tools, data visualization, and technical sales tools.
