Currently, we're initiating our global supply strategy and we need a Bedbank Optimization Specialist (BOS) to ensure that it is properly executed. 
Our 3-year from now plan is to achieve a total gross volume up to 700M, increase to more than 60 hotel suppliers to globally operate and become a global leader specialised in independent hotels and unique value experiences with fair rates.

Job purpose: You will be responsible for working within the Bedbank Optimization team to improve the active product offering of our bedbanks and suppliers, increase sales, and ensure the quality of the product offering. 
You will be in charge as well of monitoring availability, identifying and reducing errors, and coordinating communication with bedbanks, its platforms and suppliers to resolve issues and maximise sales possibilities.
The Bedbank Optimization team at Stayforlong is a forward-thinking group of technical and sales professionals, devoted to crafting innovative solutions and streamlining our platform to acquire the best hotel offer possible for the platform and ensure the best quality in terms of technical performance and sales.

Main job responsibilities are :
Commercial strategy: Lead and own the full process of negotiating, its execution and bring new partnership opportunities to ensure the execution of the global distribution strategy Product analysis: Continuously monitor and improve the state of mapped products in collaboration with bedbanks and suppliers. Availability Monitoring: Oversee the availability of active products by market and source/catalogue for each bedbank and supplier, identifying areas for improvement and coordinating solutions with the relevant parties. Error Management: Monitor the error rate of bedbanks and suppliers in aspects such as availability, booking rules, and booking confirmations. Identify and address the causes of errors, working together with bedbanks, internal teams and suppliers to resolve them. Credential and Active Product Management: Manage credentials by catalogue and active product by catalogue, ensuring a deep understanding of the system and coordinating with bedbanks and suppliers to use the correct credentials and maintain active product synchronisation. L2B (Look-to-Book) Control: Coordinate and synchronise with each bedbank and supplier to reduce the impact of L2B and prevent deactivation or compensation for high L2B. Work with the catalogue manager to configure different strategies depending on metasearch requests or website visits. Restricted Market Management: Manage restricted markets by property and bedbank or supplier, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and restrictions. Follow sales agreements and the performance with each product and catalogue in each assigned bedbank accounts Be an active member in the on-boarding new suppliers process: propose new supply partnerships and execute the on boarding process Be aligned with the Bedbank optimization Manager at the time to support other stakeholders like: Marketing: to make sure that the products obtained from the BBs are properly displayed on the main distribution channels (metasearch). Finance: be in touch with the BBs to communicate the escalations received from Finance department if any.  Customer Experience: be in touch with the BBs to communicate the escalations received from the Customer Experience department if any.  What you'll bring: Experience in the online travel agency (OTA) industry and/or strong knowledge of bedbanks/TPS industry is a must. Experience in both will be an asset.  Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and coordination skills with various stakeholders. Technical knowledge & previous experience on performance optimization. Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment. Strong background in Key Account management of global wholesalers. The candidate needs to have a strong background skills in negotiating with principal suppliers and stakeholders in order to comply the distribution plan challenges defined by our Bedbank Optimization Manager.
