We are currently seeking a Field Technical Support who will be responsible for providing frontline support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting. You will help drive revenue growth while ensuring strong customer contract retention rates and warranty conversion. Apply critical thinking to resolve instrumentation performance issues, train our customers, and verify the operational performance and data quality of systems. You'll be a key member to help drive customer satisfaction and retention.
This position is part of the Customer Care located in Barcelona, Catalunya, and will be remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team.Be supported by a strong leadership team, involved in key projects to deliver successful installations for our customers that meet their requirements and that of our company.Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment. The essential requirements of the job include:
Associate degree (prefer technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering, or related) or validated equivalent experience.Ability to travel and provide support in assigned geography, as well as periodic travel to other areas and overnight travel.Fluent in English verbal and written (Use CEFR - Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Demonstrated ability diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, and/or electronic medical equipment.IT repair experience in a laboratory, as a Field Service Engineer or Biomedical Engineer.Experience collaborating with internal team members and external customers.
