Laboratory Analyst IJob PurposePerforms laboratory tests required by Saybolt's clients with supervision, to determine chemical or physical characteristics designated by the client.General ResponsibilitiesAssist other chemists from the department and Chief Analyst or Laboratory Account Managers in their responsibilities.Be responsible for efficient work within the laboratory to meet client needs accurately and in time.Develop and fulfill job functions, including specific service of standby, within the ordinary working day as effective working time.Run analyses at the lowest possible costs while meeting safety, quality of service, and maintenance requirements.Ensure full cooperation with the department and Managers on all assignments.Follow all company procedures established by Saybolt and Core Laboratories, including but not limited to HSE Manual, Accounting Policies & Procedures, Saybolt Administration Instruction Letter, IT procedures, Ethics Policy, and Saybolt Compliance Code.Keep updated and aware of all changes and act accordingly.Exhibit professional appearance and attitude and act harmoniously with fellow employees.Report directly to Chief Analyst and/or Laboratory Account Managers.#J-18808-Ljbffr
