JOB DESCRIPTION: Purpose of the role:
Proposes Annual Internal Audit Plan to the Audit Committee and implements the plan according to roadmap in coordination with external services when required.
Manages Compliance set of policies and controls for the Group in coordination with the relevant stakeholders and supports the Compliance Officer in all relevant material matters.
Proposes Enterprise Risk Map to the Audit Committee and implements the plan according to roadmap.
Responsibilities:
Support the GRC & Internal Audit Director in defining the Enterprise Wide Risk Map for approval by the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and coordinates its implementation.
Schedule, coordinate, and conduct operational, compliance, and financial audits by:
Evaluating the adequacy of the system of internal controls;
Recommending improvements in controls;
Assessing compliance with policies and procedures and sound business practices;
Monitoring the timely implementation of agreed actions and reporting on progress.
Perform ad hoc reviews and special investigations (including fraud).
Review business activities to measure Compliance with policies and procedures, undertaking enforcement activities, providing advice, training and promoting the development of a compliance culture.
Qualifications:
Ability to build alliances and enlist third-party support and outside resources.
Ability to anticipate reactions and objections and plan how to overcome them.
Ability to negotiate resistance effectively and win concessions without damaging relationships.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage internal and external resources in combined teams on a global scale.
Ability to train direct reports extensively (due to the small size of the department).
Ability to meet strict deadlines, manage multiple demands and work with individuals at all levels, including Audit Committee.
Very strong business ethics, ability to manage particularly confidential information.
