Grow your career as an IT Project Manager.In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and implementing very complex IT projects to meet organizational goals. A successful IT Project Manager will:Work in the preparation and definition of the Hospitality portfolio projects.Assess requirements for projects and recommend suitable IT components.Formulate procedures and policies for optimum utilization of IT resources in the organization.Maintain project documents: Software (SW) Project Plan, Schedule, Sharepoint, Teams, Smartsheet. (Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately).Work closely with the PMO to follow projects framework, guidelines, standards, templates, best practices, etc.Facilitate project status meetings and key stakeholder reviews.Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.Identify Risks in the projects and design strategies to avoid or mitigate them.Elevate all critical issues and risks with suggested courses of action.A successful IT Project Manager will have:Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or related field.5 years of PM-related experience on IT Projects.5 years of experience in Hotel/Tourism Companies is a plus.Strong understanding of project management methodology and terminology.Strong analytical and documentation skills.Strong communication skills with cross-functional project teams, team workers, functional test team, sponsors, management, partners, vendors, and users.Fluent in English & Spanish (written and verbal).Knowledge of Project Management Tools (like MS Project, Smartsheet).Expertise using Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to travel globally as required (~10 - 20%).About Apple Leisure Group: Apple Leisure Group (ALG) is the leading North American travel, hospitality and leisure management group with the only vertically-integrated business model, serving travelers and destinations worldwide.
