Positioned in the charismatic old artisan quarter of El Born, the Miiro Borneta Hotel invites you to discover the charms of the Ciutat Vella. ********** Key Responsibilities: • Serve a wide variety of hot and cold drinks, as coffee, teas, smoothies and specialty concoctions that align with the Volta Bar theme. • Pay meticulous attention to the presentation, and consistency of each drink before service. • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, anticipating their needs, and making personalized drink recommendations. • Possess an in-depth understanding of various coffee, infusions, smoothies and ingredients commonly used in breakfast and lunch service. • Stay updated on emerging coffee trends and techniques to provide a unique and innovative drink experience, be able to share conversations with the guest with a professional-friendly approach. • Comply with hotel rules and regulations and provisions contained in the Miiro Employee Handbook. • Actively participate in training and development programmes and maximise opportunities for self-development. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role in a high-end or busy restaurant setting. • Fluency in Spanish and English. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
