We are also a beloved destination for many national sports teams and professional athletes. The resort is located near La Santa village on the north-western coast of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. It is an English speaking resort with the majority of guests from Denmark, United Kingdom and Germany. Work and Responsibilities Working as a badminton and/or squash instructor at Club La Santa, you will be part of the racket sports team consisting of 7-8 instructors. Your main responsibilities will include: Teaching badminton and/or squash instructions for groups and individuals. Coordinating tournaments and teaching all levels of badminton and/or squash in groups of around 12 people. Providing personal instructions (PI s) focusing on deeper technical and tactical development. Team teaching classes with fellow racket sport colleagues during high season and special occasions. Possibly teaching instructions in tennis, table tennis, and/or padel. Delivering the best experience to Club La Santa guests. Working with the Green Team in other areas such as Sports Booking, morning runs, events, and evening entertainment. Maintaining a flexible schedule with varied tasks and hours. You will report directly to the In-Charge of racket sports (in Lanzarote) and be part of a larger team consisting of around 60 sports instructors across 3 countries. Qualifications Education or qualifications in Badminton and/or Squash. Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the Racket Sports environment. Fluent in English; secondary Spanish and/or Danish is a plus. Candidate Profile Excellent communication skills for clear instructions and focus points. Ability to oversee multiple courts and communicate effectively during personal instructions or group sessions. Adaptability in body language, tone of voice, and technical level according to age category. Curiosity and openness to learning and sharing knowledge within current trends of badminton and squash. Team-oriented with a commitment to agreements and feedback. Independent and self-motivated, responsible for tasks and guest safety. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills to adapt to changing situations. What Do We Offer Permanent full-time contract with a 40-hour working week and 2 days off. Salary of 1,392.79 € bruto per month, paid 12 times a year. Three extra payments during the year: December, June, and Holiday pay, calculated proportionally to months employed.
