What we're looking for: A Backend Team Leader who will lead, manage, build and mentor a team of key backend developers working on the next generation Allot Security Products and make an immediate and real impact on the future of our products.
What you'll do: Lead a core python backend development team.
Recruit and mentor team members.
Be a senior hands-on contributor.
Be part of the overall design, development, architecture, code quality and production environment deployment of your team.
Work together to build the next-generation Backend infrastructure that will scale the Allot Secure Management solution.
Manage Agile processes including Scrum team activities.
Ensure adherence to coding best practices and development of reusable code.
Requirements: Knowledge & Skills: 6+ years of previous experience as a Backend SW developer.
1-2+ years of managerial experience.
Great communication skills, both written and oral, in English.
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
6+ years of experience with Python; with emphasis on enterprise software development.
NoSQL database experience such as MongoDB, Redis.
Kafka and other durable, scalable messaging systems.
Unit testing.
Basic Linux/Unix system administration skills.
Experience with relational databases such as SQL - advantage.
Docker containerization - advantage.
Kubernetes, container orchestration - advantage.
