Backend Engineer Python

We represent a leading big data analytics provider in the financial services sector, helping financial professionals enhance returns, reduce risk, and increase efficiency through advanced data analysis. Location: Remote within Spain No sponsorship is offered for this role. Tasks We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our Workflow Solutions Backend team. You will play a key role in developing and supporting our innovative cloud-based products. Responsibilities: Onboarding and Integration: Engage with stakeholders and teams to understand product context and participate in solving real issues. Product Development: Create production-ready application code, perform deployments, and contribute to backend microservices development. Ownership and Maintenance: Take ownership of architecture components, provide support, monitoring, and maintenance, ensuring functional testing with the QA team. Requirements Proficiency in Python development and creating REST APIs using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or similar. Experience with relational and no-SQL databases, cloud platforms like AWS, document-oriented databases, software testing methodologies, and CICD tools like Jenkins. Strong desire for continuous learning, collaboration, and problem-solving in an agile environment. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with search databases like Elasticsearch, Vespa, Solr, or equivalent.
