About The Role We are looking for a Backend Engineer responsible for the development of the Connect platform within the CloudBlue solution. Connect is a micro-service SaaS platform operating in the Cloud infrastructure which has API interaction, relational and non-relational databases, message broker exchanges, etc.

We are a growing distributed team primarily located in Barcelona with people in Sofia and Irvine, CA. We are a diverse group of young and energetic engineers building the cutting-edge tech platform. What You'll Be Doing Primarily building API and services in Python
Developing and supporting features from design to production
Closely working with frontend engineers in small feature teams
Collaborating with other CloudBlue teams
Applying tech proposals and enhancements
Working with your team and engineering manager to grow your career
What You Need 3+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer
Experience in Python with 2+ years of experience
API development and integration expert
Moderate PostgreSQL and RDBMS knowledge
Familiar with Docker & Docker Compose
Basic understanding of modern frontend tech
Unit test expert
Professional working proficiency in English language
Nice To Have Django/DRF & FastAPI experience
Experience with k8s
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure or GCP
Experience with IaC, CI/CD, monitoring and alerting
Open source contribution or a pet project
