Job Title: Backend Developer (.NET & Azure) - Product-Focused Location: Hybrid Contract Type: Full time Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Developer to join our product development team. In this role, you will focus on designing, developing, and deploying scalable, reliable, and secure backend solutions that power innovative products. You will leverage Microsoft technologies, including .NET and Azure, to deliver exceptional software solutions aligned with product goals and customer needs. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Product Managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems using C# and .NET Core/Framework. Build and manage cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, etc.). Design and integrate secure, high-performance RESTful APIs to enable seamless interaction with product features. Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability to meet user demand. Manage and maintain relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, Azure Cosmos DB). Participate in product roadmap discussions and proactively suggest backend solutions that align with product goals. Implement and monitor CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools. Troubleshoot production issues, ensuring fast resolution to minimize downtime. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to product specifications and best practices. Requirements Previous experience: 4 years as a Backend Developer or similar role, ideally in product-focused environments. Technical Skills: Proficiency in C#, .NET Core/Framework. Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure. Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development. Familiarity with database systems such as SQL Server and Azure Cosmos DB. Understanding of design principles such as SOLID and design patterns. Tools: Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD. Proficiency in Git version control. Additional Knowledge: Basic understanding of containers (Docker, Kubernetes on Azure). Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Intermediate to advanced technical English. Soft Skills Strong problem-solving skills with a product-centric mindset. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Product and UX. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality code. Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and product needs. Nice to Have Certifications in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, .NET certifications). Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Application Insights or Azure Monitor.
