Backend Developer

We are looking for an exceptional Android senior developer to join our mobile application engineering team. You will work with other engineers to develop and maintain high quality mobile applications. In short, you will design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?Support of the entire life cycle of the application (concept, design, test, launch and support).Production of fully functional mobile applications using the latest coding standards agreed by the development team.Write units and UI tests to identify malfunctions.Solve problems and debug to optimize performance.Collaborate with the creative team to improve and design the user experience.Work closely with project and project management teams to prioritize functions.Ensure that new and legacy applications meet quality standards.WHAT ARE WE SEARCHING FOR?5+ years of experience in Android development (basically with Java).Android development with Android Studio 3.J2EE, Web services (SOAP) and REST services (XML and JSON) – Hibernate.Portfolio of applications launched to the Android market.Experience with libraries and third-party APIs.Excellent analytical skills with a good attitude of solving problems.Bachelor of Computer Science or relevant field.Experience creating infrastructure in the cloud (AWS, Firebase).Ability to work with an inter-functional team to help with testing and deployment.Experience working in a Scrum / Agile environment.WHAT CAN WE OFFER?We pay you for continuous learning.We enjoy the day to day while we work with excellence.Trips to Silicon Valley, Las Vegas, London and other places we do business.A new MacBook Air.A project obsessed with excellence.Humor.An excellent location in central Barcelona right in the middle of a startup ecosystem.Participation in the company's benefits plan (gym membership, health insurance, and more).We are a company driven by data and free of hierarchies.
