Our client seeks someone to ensure the reliability and accuracy of critical systems for corporate finance.Salary: £45-65kLocation: Madrid officeStart Date: ASAPKey skills required for this roleWebDriver IO, Cucumber, Postman, DevOps, JIRA, SQLJob descriptionKey responsibilitiesDesigning and implementing comprehensive test plans for the Treasury Management System.Engaging in both manual and automated testing to ensure all features perform to the highest standard.Providing mentorship to junior testing staff and contributing to team training and development initiatives.Identifying potential issues and leading troubleshooting efforts to resolve them.Keeping updated with industry standards and best practices, and introducing them into our testing processes.Reporting on the status, quality, and potential risks associated with the system in development.Essential experience & skillsExperience:Proven hands-on experience in testing financial applications, particularly Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and/or payments platforms.Experience in various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and API.Experience in building and maintaining test automation frameworks.An understanding of security testing techniques to ensure data protection and confidentiality.Understanding of treasury management processes such as cash management, forecasting, transaction management, financial instruments, reconciliation process, payments, and general treasury operations.Technical Skills:Proficiency in testing tools such as WebDriver IO, Cucumber, Postman, DevOps, and JIRA.Knowledge of databases, SQL, and data validation techniques.Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Educational background and certification:At least a bachelor's degree in finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, or other relevant quality assurance qualifications can be advantageous.Knowledge in financial and treasury management is required.Excellent English language skills are required.Soft Skills:Excellent attention to detail.Strong communication skills to convey complex issues to developers and business stakeholders.Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.Ability to handle changing requirements and priorities.Company OverviewMatchtech is a STEM Recruitment Specialist, with over 35 years' experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
