About the Role
The Materials Planner is responsible for optimizing the material planning based on material group and for handling the operational tasks connected to the plan. He/She will be responsible to ensure there are adequate quantities on time and volume to ensure the production of Semifinished Goods and Finished Goods. Ensure the proper quantities of Raw Material to warranty there are on the proper levels of Working Capital and SST.

What You Will DoExecute and review materials plan to ensure the fulfillment of the requirements of planning for Finished Goods and Semifinished Goods.Monitor supplier performance based on agreements (supplier scorecard) and identify possible gaps, escalating to the team leader.Share forecast of the raw material needed with suppliers (scheduling agreement).Execute call-offs to the suppliers ensuring they can meet the demands of raw materials.Track the confirmation and arrival of the order.Master data maintenance.Who You AreBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or in a related technical field.+2 years of experience in logistics and/or production planning.Experience working in a manufacturing site and good understanding of local site operations.Good IT skills: MS Office, SAP, planning systems, etc.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and influencing skills.Ability to create alternative supply scenarios.Ability to effectively manage expected and unexpected changes in the plan, under time constraints and limited information.What We Can Offer YouAt Essity, we believe every career is as unique as the individual and empower employees to reach their full potential in a winning culture motivated by a powerful purpose.
