What you'll do Steers the production plan into mid-long term Material Requirements Plan, ensuring availability of production material based on Finished Goods forecast, and collaborating closely with the Operational Planning team.Ensures good availability to sites, in terms of quantity and time while optimizing order size and minimizing obsoletes.Maintains the time and quantity MRP Parameters, aggregates cross-category requirements and acts on any MRP exceptions in accordance with the production plan / finite schedule.Collaborates with suppliers and conducts Rough Cut Capacity Planning for all material requirements vs. qualified sources of supply to support the production plan at an effective cost.Provides mid to long-term requirement plans (0-24 months).Supports on the material inventory analysis by reviewing the inventory policies, tracking and managing slow-movers, and monitoring obsoletes.Maintains select manufacturing parameters.Works with Purchasing in identifying multi-sourcing needs to prevent potential supply risks and on supplier collaboration initiatives.Identifies material sourcing risks or opportunities and escalates issues to the appropriate parties (internal and external).Identifies and supports on continuous improvement initiatives that enhance Planning performance.What makes you a good fit Degree in BA, Engineering, Supply Chain or Chemistry.
