Are you ready to change the world with us?The RoleAs a GL Accountant Intern, you will play an important role in the development and implementation of policies and practices for financial management, payroll, budget control, and accounting. You will get hands-on experience under the supervision of our Director of GL and Consolidation, who will help you learn and grow within the EV revolution at Wallbox.Your Responsibilities:Ensure data accuracyPrepare journal entriesReconcile financial statements and accountsGenerate and distribute account management reports on a monthly basisPerform accounting analysis for cash accruals, account payables, account receivables, reconciliations, and foreign exchangeProvide appropriate accounting information to customers when neededAssist various departments in accounting issues and queriesAnalyze and perform foreign currency exchangesSupport Auditor in conducting external auditsAssist in tax preparation and filing activitiesReconcile general ledger accounts and revenue accountsReview financial reports to identify and explain variancesPrepare cash flow statements and resolve outstanding balancing issuesAdhere to standard accounting principles and company proceduresPerform accounting analyses and reporting to support decision-making purposesRequirements:Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or a similar fieldExpertise in numbers and good math skills are very importantA knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysisMust be able to collect, evaluate and interpret data, in both statistical and narrative formA high level of organizational skills for maintaining records and documentationExcellent written and oral skillsStrong problem-solving, data analysis and computer software skillsFluent in English.
