Joining us means joining a caring, responsible, and innovative company where more than 70,000 people lead the way to greener and smarter mobility, worldwide.Job TitleR&D Project Engineer (Industrialization and Product Design)Purpose of the JobProduct Industrialization engineer to work on tools to acquire data in railway environment.Ensure that industrial processes are adequate and necessary in time, form and quality to achieve the objectives of the working group and ensure the reliability and availability of the equipment.Propose, develop and execute projects of applied research and technological development within business services, aimed at the validation in the field of the different developments.Networks & LinksInternal: Industrial Team, Production, Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Supply Chain and Project Managers.External: Customers, Suppliers, Universities and Research Centres.ResponsibilitiesProduct design and industrialization engineer for data acquisition in railway environment.Product Design: Based on initial functional prototypes and operational availability requirements, manage the design of data acquisition products with industrial criteria to improve the reliability and availability of the equipment.Management of special facilities.Integration for the industrialization of a measuring station based on laser measuring equipment:Electric connection.Pneumatic connection.Integration of precision mechanical equipment.Design equipment for safety and health and to guarantee the acquisition conditions.Collaboration in the design, development, planning and monitoring of R&D projects both at the technical and economic levels.Improvements and analysis of possible cost deviations.Create R&D development proposals taking into account ideas proposed internally and externally to the company.Continuous learning based on project results.Communication and dissemination of R&D initiatives and collaboration in the implementation of the programs and/or projects developed.Participation in offers that include new technologies and/or products developed in R&D.Educational RequirementsIndustrial Engineer, Electromechanical specialty.Desirable Master's Degree.Required Knowledge / ExperienceExperience in customer projects in industrial facilities.Knowledge of Product Development (desirable within the railway sector).Knowledge of Mechanical Design, Electrical Systems and Installations.Domain of CATIA design packages, CAD/CAM, SolidWorks.Knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic Connection.Knowledge of Planning Software (MS Project, Primavera P6, Redbooth, Gantt Project, etc.).Operational Competencies (Including Functional Knowledge)Good communication and interpersonal skills, must be able to communicate on all levels including customer facing.Flexibility & Adaptability.Proactive in proposing solutions, initiative.Able to think critically and use good judgment.Detail-oriented.Strong analytical skills to interpret research data for reports.Ability to manage effectively and meet firm deadlines.Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow's mobility.
