You will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, containerized applications and driving the modernization of cloud-based solutions.Responsibilities:Develop and deploy applications on AKS: Design, build, and deploy containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance.Modernize legacy applications: Lead efforts to modernize existing applications by migrating them to microservices or serverless architectures and containerized environments.Cloud-native application development: Develop cloud-native applications using modern tools and frameworks, optimizing for Azure services and best practices.Manage CI/CD pipelines: Implement and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for seamless deployment and management of applications in AKS, leveraging Azure DevOps.Optimize application performance: Monitor and optimize applications running in AKS to ensure high availability, low latency, and efficient resource utilization.Collaborate with DevOps and cross-functional teams: Work closely with DevOps, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure efficient application deployment, scaling, and monitoring.Implement best practices: Develop and enforce best practices for containerized application development, AKS management, and application lifecycle management in a cloud environment.You're good at:Kubernetes (AKS) and containerization: Expertise in deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.Application modernization: Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating them to microservices-based architectures leveraging modern identity platforms.CI/CD automation: Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitOps, etc. to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.Cloud-native development: Experience in supporting deployment of cloud-native applications using languages and frameworks such as Java (Spring Boot), Node.Js, Angular.Monitoring and optimization: Experience using tools like Azure Monitor, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana to monitor applications in AKS, diagnose performance issues, and optimize performance.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong experience in deploying cloud infrastructure using tools such as Bicep, YAML, or ARM templates.
