The Digital Social Technologies (DST) area of the i2CAT Foundation is working to consolidate its position in the international landscape of digital social innovation, particularly through its participation in the Horizon Europe funding programme and others. The DST Area is looking for a person to lead the preparation of DST research proposals for international research and innovation funding programmes and to collaborate with other areas of the Foundation on projects and calls.
Main Tasks:Work on European calls identified in the DST Research Roadmap, generating new proposals and/or contributing to strong consortia with DST research themes.Support the DST Research Director in contributing to partnerships such as ENOLL and ALL Digital to promote new collaborative projects and open new research lines.Participate as principal investigator in international research projects, playing responsible roles in all of them.Promote the link between European projects and local innovation cases in collaboration with the area's innovation team.Successful Acquisition of FundingActively engage with European calls identified in the DST Research Roadmap.Generate new research proposals and contribute to strong consortia aligned with DST research themes.Support Partnerships and Collaborative InitiativesAssist the DST Research Director in fostering partnerships, particularly with organizations like ENOLL and ALL Digital.Promote collaborative projects and explore new research avenues through these partnerships.Lead International Research ProjectsParticipate as a principal investigator in international research projects, taking on responsible roles within these projects.Demonstrate leadership and contribute to the successful execution and implementation of research initiatives.Project Management and ImplementationTake on the responsibility for projects, ensuring that they are well-planned, executed, and meet the specified objectives.Oversee the implementation of projects, coordinating with team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals.Facilitate Linkages between European Projects and Local InnovationPromote connections between European projects and local innovation cases.Collaborate with the area's innovation team to ensure that lessons learned and innovations from European projects are effectively integrated into local contexts.What Will You Enjoy?You can work from our offices or from home, whichever you prefer.
