We are hiring for a seasoned leader for the Audits and Insights Team to lead two specific charters - (i) Audits Integrity and Effectiveness and (ii) Registrations and Compliance Operations (RCO). It is paramount for AIT to maintain a strong commitment to audits accuracy and effectiveness in achieving their intended outcomes. The Audit Integrity and Effectiveness Program will ensure a robust delivery of this commitment and be responsible for building and implementing audit guardrails across all functions in AIT.The leader will additionally spearhead the RCO AIT functions while managing the AIT EU team of ~80 members. The Audit and Insight Team (AIT) for Registration and Compliance Operations (RCO) provides structural solutions for the business teams for a seamless seller registration experience and adherence to regulatory requirements.The mission of this team is to protect Customer trust on Amazon's stores WW by conducting statistically significant and unbiased audits on a wide spectrum of automated and manual decisions that our systems and investigators take on our Selling Partners. These audits benchmark and measure the decision accuracy of our systems and processes and serve as an important yardstick for the Customer/Seller experience. The team also owns defects/gaps identified in the audits and generates actionable insights/recommendations to address those.Key Job Responsibilities:Lead the Internal Quality Assurance team that will audit the work of the auditors.Facilitate the transition of any new program in AIT, define scope, prepare project plans and procure signoffs from all stakeholders.Manage Sampling Strategy, assess viability on a periodic basis and revise as necessary.Establish/Validate on defect mental model for new programs and ensure compliance to the mental model.Build mechanisms to check the integrity of the audit results and metric report outs.Support goals baselining along with the Audit program leads.Accountable for Audit effectiveness - evaluate the need for existing audits and revisit its effectiveness by challenging the status quo.Collaborate with WW teams to onboard new programs, define SOPs, goals and success metrics.Monitor progress against goals, anticipate and mitigate risks and ensure seamless delivery through effective mechanisms such as WBR/MBR/QBR.Identify and resolve complex issues, and take swift decisions under ambiguous circumstances.Build partnerships with local business partners across recruitment, human resources and administration to ensure seamless support for the organization.Drive key organizational metrics, initiatives & goals across hiring, training, development, employee engagement, RnR and performance management.Minimum Requirements:8-10 years of program, project, and/or product management experience in the E-commerce, Consulting, Product or IT services industry, preferably leading a large team of 200+.Demonstrated experience in building/leading quality and audit functions at scale.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.Demonstrated ability to define, influence, refine, and implement processes, procedures and policies.Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes and challenge conventional wisdom.Ability to influence with or without formal authority.Experience working with cross-functional teams including technology, science and product teams.Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries.
