About this opportunity: We are now looking for a Sustainability Manager. In this role, you will be driving the Sustainability Management for the Networks & Managed Services (N&MS) portfolio in the Market Area Europe & Latin America (MELA). You will be closely cooperating with other Sustainability functions across MELA and with the Business Areas of Networks (BNEW) and Managed Services (BMAS) in your daily work. You will drive continuous improvements within the own unit and establish a strong relationship and Ways of Working with MELA and BA (Business Areas) organizations.
What you will do:
Set up and adapt Sustainability Strategy in MELA NMS unit.Drive strategy development and strategic analysis with respect to sustainability and its impact for all areas important for Networks and Managed Services. This includes portfolio (Covering all Networks portfolio), technology, supply chain (including sourcing), commercial/financial, sales, and competence aspects.Ensure models, indicators, and measurements highlighting environmental sustainability aspects are properly included in relevant decisions.Closely network with other parts of the organization in the area ensuring the overall Ericsson strategy in sustainability evolves.Participate in and contribute to discussions with customers and regulators/other external bodies in relation to the impact of environmental sustainability from a Networks and Managed Services point of view.Perform Product Portfolio Lifecycle Assessments together with Product Management.Drive continuous improvement activities & actively bring in own ideas.As an active contributor, bring forward the Networks and Managed Services perspective into the Ericsson Group Sustainability framework. Location & Scope: Position to be based in Madrid, Spain; Work on different projects across different European countries.
You will bring:
University degree/MSc in Engineering, Economics, Business Development, Industrial Engineering and Management, or equivalent experience.Minimum 3-5 years of experience from the Telco and/or ICT industry.Proven experience within the environmental sustainability area (e.g., Life cycle assessment methodologies, understanding of Carbon footprint vs. product materials and choice of suppliers, Circular business and business models, Energy efficiency and performance, Impact of and possibilities with Digitalization and automation).Understanding of customer aspects and relevant regulatory frameworks.Ability to drive strategy development and analysis.Good business understanding for Networks and Managed Services.Strong social, networking, presentation, and communication skills.Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
