Job Description Managing Partners Group ("MPG") is a multi-disciplined investment house that manages a range of collective investment schemes and regulated mutual funds investing in absolute return and other alternative asset classes. The office based telesales role is to provide support to maximise the effectiveness of the business development team, by producing high quality leads and working as a team member towards agreed set targets and profitability goals. To provide a high level of sales support by ensuring all queries are responded to in an efficient, professional manner. The sales team promotes a wide range of offshore Investment Funds that are currently managed by MPG. This is a full time role that would suit an experienced outgoing individual whom has previously or is currently working in a similar role and environment. Whilst primarily sales orientated, all members of staff are encouraged to utilise their respective skills and abilities in other areas of the company's activity to further their own career development.
Key Responsibilities Identify opportunities, produce leads and book appointments for the sales team with the emphasis on high quality leads. Proactively follow up leads generated from canvassing by the Business development team. Use of initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies who are not already on the database. Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business. Work closely within the sales team to achieve personal and team targets. Liaise effectively with all departments within MPG to ensure customer requirements are met. Contribute to the team performance by sharing and implementing Best Practise Ideas. Person Specification - Knowledge, Skills, Experience Computer literate/keyboard skills. At least 1-2 years working within a sales environment preferably in a proactive telemarketing role. Excellent telephone skills. High degree of accuracy. Sets high standards and consistently achieves them. Qualities Must be able to understand technical product information. Ability to learn and think effectively. Self-motivated. Achievement orientated. Ability to use own initiative. People Skills Ability to build strong working relationships (internal/external). Excellent communication skills. Ability to persuade and influence people.
