.An Assistant Director of Finance in charge of credits will ensure the accuracy of stocks, accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepayments, and creditor/accruals accounting records and provide periodic reports to the Finance Leader.What will I be doing?
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Assist the Finance Leader by providing full and accurate forecasting and budgeting proposals within the hotel and in other areas where required.Identify gaps and ensure proactive efforts to meet targets.Provide timely and accurate financial statements.Assist the Finance Leader in preparing cash forecasts as required by the General/Hotel Manager and/or accountancy and Finance department.Ensure all financial deadlines and regulations are met, through the maintenance of adequate systems of internal control.Assist the Finance Leader in preparing capital reviews as required by the General/Hotel Manager and/or accountancy and Finance department.Prepare monthly Balance sheet reviews in accordance to Hilton Policies.Train and develop the local Finance Team Members and assist the Finance Leader to ensure succession plans are in place.Develop financial awareness of local management teams.Support the Commercial & Operations teams to ensure maximum efficiency & profitability at all business areas.Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when required.Ensure the timely credit collections of all outstanding payments.Manage credit meetings with key stakeholders.Monitor credit limits of all outstanding accounts.Administer credit processes and policies for other departments in the hotel.Work with the Finance Leader to build effective working relationships with internal and external customers.Ensure the accuracy of all charges and credits to the various accounts.Follow up on all overdue accounts and send to debt collectors, as required.Manage all account queries and disputes.Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel areas and other homeworkers and be familiar with any Homeworking Policy.Serve your role and Team in an environmentally-conscience manner.What are we looking for?
