PURPOSE The Cloud Broker for GO Azure Projects Lead will be responsible for onboarding and supporting the AXA Group Operations Business Units with their usage of the AXA Public cloud products (i.e., Azure PaaS, Managed Public IaaS (MPI), OpenPaaS-OpenShift).
PRIMARY MISSIONS He/She will need to liaise with stakeholders within AXA Group Operations and work with operations and project teams to deliver cloud infrastructure integration. He/She will be instrumental for practices in terms of cloud infrastructure operations, security, and integration with the existing AXA GO landscape. He/She will contribute to ensure AXA GO's onboarding projects into the cloud by leveraging the existing and extended services and capabilities of the Vendors, Product teams, and Competency Centers.
He/She will play a significant role in the ATLAS program, which allows pursuing and securing AXA IT infrastructure journey from 2022 until 2025. Considering the entire AXA Technology ecosystem, our priorities are the exit from the Private IaaS before the end of 2023, optimizing the Core IT overall footprint and its running costs by 2025, and building a modernized on-premises infrastructure for those applications that cannot go to the Cloud.
DETAILLED ACTIVITIES The Cloud Broker function of Group IT accelerates cloud adoption and industrialization to support the evolution of AXA towards digital. It aims at enabling AXA entities to rapidly develop end-to-end solutions by offering services that are perfectly aligned to business needs. In order to support faster Time to Market, help govern Cloud exploitation, foster sustained security and compliance, and optimize consumption, the Core Cloud Broker team will work across the organizational structure and orchestrate AXA's Cloud adoption, together with and through the entities. The Cloud Broker Operating Model is based on a market-approved shared responsibility model in which AXA's entities jointly align, share, develop, and re-use. The Cloud Broker Core Team operates as a Cloud Centre of Excellence (CoE) for the benefit of all AXA entities. Being part of the Cloud Broker for Group Operations (GO) team, the Azure Projects Lead position will be responsible for contributing to the ATLAS program and onboarding AXA GO Applications/products on the new target IaaS platform: Managed Public IaaS (MPI).
