.DescriptionEthics and Compliance Regional ManagerWe have an opportunity within the compliance function of Hitachi Europe Limited for an Ethics & Compliance Regional Manager.
This role can be performed from any of Hitachi Europe offices in Europe, including England, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and will work with colleagues globally - we have a One Team approach.Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesSupporting the implementation of policies and proceduresPromoting a 'speak up' culture and Code of Business Ethics and ConductsRole modelling Hitachi values on an ongoing basisProviding training when appropriateAnalysing and reporting the training statusLeading/supporting compliance initiatives at Group levelSupporting the director of compliance with day-to-day workload and large scale projectsProviding guidance to entities on Anti-Bribery and corruption, Conflicts of Interest and Anti-money Laundering risksCollaborating with legal and HR on concerns management processProviding assurance on the health of the compliance program, identifying gaps through effective analysis of the data and supporting the entities to close the gapsWorking closely with the compliance team in the development of self-verification programChampioning continuous improvement and simplification of internal processesKey Skills and ExperiencePassionate about E&C; and desire to make a differenceAbility to influence (Proven track record to influence members at all levels across the organisation)Work collaboratively and in partnership with stakeholders to engage fully and be a trusted part of the teams supportedLead with confidence (leadership and management experience)Communicate (Orally and written) effectivelyExperience of working with senior leadersProactive approach in managing riskAbility to plan, manage and prioritise workload in a busy and time-critical mannerStrong awareness and sensitivity to different culturesExperience in the field of Ethics and ComplianceWorking in an advisory roleAdvising on key risks such as ABAC, CoI, CAT riskDealing with concerns managementSupporting the implementation of policies and CoCGood understanding of risk managementAbility to interpret policies and advise accordinglyHigh standards of analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret the dataFluent in Arabic, Russian, or Chinese language (we'll make this a requirement depending on the region)Highly Desirable SkillsKnowledge of Audit, business integrity and investigationUnderstanding of internal investigations and employee concerns programTravelMinimum travel is required - negotiable.Along with a market competitive salary and discretionary bonus scheme, employees have the option to work flexibly in line with our hybrid working model and we would be happy to discuss this with you during the hiring process.Company OverviewHitachi Europe Ltd is a social innovation company with headquarters based in Stoke Poges, England
