.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Research Scientist with a data-centric mindset to join our applied research and innovation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, language models, GenAI, and process automation.You will be responsible for analyzing data, researching the most appropriate techniques, and the development, testing, support, and delivery of proof of concepts to resolve real-world and large-scale challenging problems.Develop and apply machine learning innovations by collaborating with other team members and company stakeholders. Understand the requirements and be able to communicate results and conclusions in a way that is accurate, clear, and winsome.Perform feasibility studies and analyze data to determine the most appropriate solution. Work on many different data challenges, always ensuring a combination of simplicity, scalability, reproducibility, and maintainability within the ML solutions and source code.Both data and software must be developed and maintained with high-quality standards and minimal defects. Collaborate with other technical fellows on the integration and deployment of ML solutions.To work as a member of a team, encouraging team building, motivation, and cultivating effective team relations.Qualifications PhD / Masters in a specific area of AI / ML with scientific soundness and published papersAble to understand scientific papers and develop the idea into executable codeHands-on expertise in Machine Learning, NLP, LMs, GenAI, signal processing, and data sciencePrevious experience with key information extraction, product retrieval, and product matchingEDA analysis and practical hands-on experience with datasets, ML models, and evaluationsPython, Pytorch, Git, pandas, dask, polars, sklearn, huggingface, docker, databricksAnalytical mindset, problem-solving, and logical thinking capabilitiesProactive attitude, constructive, intellectual curiosity, and persistence to find answers to questionsA high level of interpersonal and communication skills in English and strong ability to meet deadlinesKeen to work as part of a diverse team of international colleagues and in a global inclusive cultureA minimum of 3-5 years' experience with evidence in a related ML fieldDesired Skills Experience working with large datasets, production-grade code, and operationalization of ML solutionsExperience in MLOPs (MLFlow, Prefect) and deployment of AI / ML solutions to the cloud (esp.
