Job Overview: An AWS Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. They will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that the cloud infrastructure meets business needs and complies with best practices for security, performance, and availability.
Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure and services including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, Terraform, and CloudFormation.Configure and manage AWS security and compliance features such as IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.Implement and maintain automated processes for continuous deployment and integration.Stay up-to-date with AWS updates and new features, and provide recommendations to improve AWS infrastructure.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure and services, with specific experience in AWS Control Tower.Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation.Proficient in AWS security and compliance features such as IAM, VPC, and CloudTrail, with specific experience in AWS Control Tower.Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet, with specific experience in AWS Control Tower.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Kubernetes, Git, and Docker.Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.Certifications:AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or higher.AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional (preferred).AWS Certified Security - Specialty (preferred).AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty (preferred).
