Details of the role and how it fits into the team Group Audit serves as Deutsche Bank's independent Third Line of Defense, proactively assisting the bank's business and infrastructure areas to identify control weaknesses. Comprising around 800 staff, our global connectivity provides a stimulating environment and the opportunity to collaborate, network and share knowledge with colleagues and specialists around the world. The Treasury audit team (located in London, New York, Madrid and Mumbai) is responsible for the timely delivery of high-quality, value-added audit reports for a global portfolio of Treasury and 2nd line Treasury Risk Management related activities, which meet the requirements of the Deutsche Bank Board and of respective regulators. Responsibilities Responsibility for execution of day-to-day operational audit work and contribute to the delivery of audits related to Treasury and Treasury Risk. Plan audits e.G. documenting activity flows of the processes to be reviewed, identify risks and the key actual controls in place to mitigate the identified risks. Draft high quality audit findings for review by audit management, facilitate issue tracking, validate the closure of issues and approve closure of Important issues. Develops and maintains relationship with business stakeholders and represents audit functions at various fora. Present complex and sensitive messages (such as audit issues) comprehensively, professionally and reduce complex topics to simple statements. Skills Good knowledge of auditing standards and concepts. Effective communication skills in English - communicating with clarity, both orally and in writing, in a logical order and structured approach. Good planning and presentation skills. 7+ years of relevant audit experience in public accounting (risk advisory / consulting) or internal audit, focusing on Financial Services – Treasury, Liquidity Risk Management, Asset Liability Management, Treasury Markets etc. A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university (or equivalent).
